Free Tackle Script

Runners get away too easily. This script gives cops and civs a way to actually close the gap and put someone on the ground, with enough skill involved that it can't be spammed.

How it works

• While sprinting, press and hold G to start a tackle.
• Holding G gives you a small, configurable sprint boost to close the distance.
• Release G, or hold until the max sprint time runs out, and your character leaps forward in your running direction.
• Any player you connect with during the ragdoll gets tackled to the ground.
• After a configurable cooldown, you can go again.

The tackle is not lock-on. You have to actually line up the leap, which is what stops people abusing it in the street.
