Overview

Player Vehicle Auction House

A vehicle selling system for FiveM built around two flows: fix a price and wait for a buyer, or list the car for auction and let bidders fight it out. Cars on sale spawn at predefined lots when players walk up and despawn again once the area empties, so the marketplace looks alive without permanently loading every listing.

Listing a Vehicle

Sellers pick one of two methods through the listing UI:

  • Direct Sale: set a fixed price for immediate purchase.
  • Auction: put the car up for bids over a chosen window.

Listing and auction duration is configurable from 12 hours up to a full week.

Auction Flow

  • Place bids on active listings and track auctions in real time.
  • Bidders see the current highest bid and the time remaining on each lot.

Vehicle Info Dialog

Every car on the lot has a detailed info dialog covering:

  • Vehicle name, plate, price, and sale expiration.
  • Modifications including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and turbo.

Preserved Modifications

Full vehicle properties support means the tuning a seller paid for is exactly what the buyer drives away in. Engine and performance parts carry over cleanly on transfer.

Server-Side Validation

  • Secure server callbacks validate every interaction with a listing.
  • Listing eligibility is checked before a car ever hits the marketplace, blocking exploit attempts and invalid entries.
  • Hook in your own checks to reject listings that break your server's rules.
